Job Description Deliver pizzas with an insured vehicle within a designated delivery area.
Maintain your vehicle, manage orders, and provide friendly customer service while handling adverse terrain and multi‑story deliveries.
Job Requirements and Duties You must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record that meets company standards, and have access to an insured vehicle available for delivery.
You must also possess navigational skills to locate addresses within the delivery zone and navigate multi‑story buildings.

Team Responsibilities
Operate all store equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery area into storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility daily.
Training Orientation and on‑the‑job training are provided.
Communication Skills
Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers for orders over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions and Skills
Perform basic math accurately and quickly.
Make correct monetary change.
Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Quick, accurate motor coordination between eyes, hands, and fingers.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Navigate the delivery area using a map or GPS.
Navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings, private homes, and delivery sites.
Work Conditions Exposure to
Varying and sometimes adverse weather when performing outside tasks.
In‑store temperatures from 36°F to 90°F+.
Sudden temperature changes indoors and outdoors.
Fumes from food odors.
Exposure to cornmeal dust.
Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
Hot surfaces or tools up to 500°F or higher.
Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Adverse weather when delivering product, driving, and couponing.
Sensing
Talk and hear on telephone; near and mid‑range vision for most tasks.
Depth perception.
Differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Distance vision and night vision for driving.
Temperaments The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Physical Requirements Standing Most tasks are performed standing; working surfaces include ceramic tile “bricks” with linoleum in some areas.
Work surfaces range from 36” to 48” high.
Walking Short distances for short durations; delivery personnel travel between the store and delivery vehicle and to customer locations.
Sitting Paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table.
Lifting Bulk product deliveries twice a week or more; unloading uses a hand truck.
Deliveries may include cases up to 50 lbs. with dimensions 3’ x 1.5’.
Carrying Carry large cans (3 lbs 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), and trays of pizza dough (~12 lbs per tray).
Carry items while walking and climbing during delivery.
Pushing Move trays on dollies; a stack may require up to 7.5 lbs of force.
Climbing Infrequently navigate stairs or ladders for maintenance; five or more flights may be required during delivery.
Stooping/Bending Forward bending at the pizza assembly station for 30–45 seconds repeatedly per day.
Crouching/Squatting Occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
Reaching Continuous reaching: upward, downward, forward.
Reaching above 72” for oven controls and price tags; downwards to scoop cornmeal, wash dishes; forward for toppings.
