Information Security Analyst
Location:
San Antonio, TX (onsite 4 days/week)
Contract:
12-month contract (possibility to extend)
Compensation:
$30-44/hr. (range depends on experience)
Job Responsibilities
2‑4 years of experience in Information Security/Information Technology or Governance Risk & Compliance or Third‑Party Risk Management.
Oversee third‑party assessments to ensure governance, risk, and compliance standards are met and support remediation of findings.
Peer‑review IT/IS assessments of vendors and assist in closing gaps.
Document findings, track gaps, and collaborate with peers to improve processes.
Assist in determining inherent risk of vendor contracts and share insights with the Third‑Party Risk Management program.
Communicate with senior executives regarding risk assessment questions.
Technical Requirements
Strong knowledge of the NIST Cyber Framework.
Experience with IT Security risk assessments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong writing and issue remediation skills related to information security and technology risk domains.
Certifications in TPRM/Governance or vendor assessments (Security+, CTPRP, CISA, CRISC).
