Function: Maintenance Job Summary The Instrument and Electrical (I&E) technician is responsible for safely maintaining, repairing, and replacing plant equipment efficiently. Technicians install, troubleshoot, service, and perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment. They also install, test, and calibrate high‑voltage electrical systems and other electronic equipment, adhering to standard I&E procedures and techniques.

Job Description Summary

Candidates must follow all safety rules and keep work areas clean.

Requires installation, repair, and maintenance of all process controls; analyzing systems and electrical systems.

Dismantles, cleans, replaces parts, assembles, and calibrates pneumatic and electronic instruments.

Determines causes for malfunctioning instruments and takes corrective action.

Reads electrical blueprints and schematics.

Performs preventive maintenance on equipment.

Installs, alters, and repairs electrical systems, including installing conduit, pulling wire through conduit, making proper connections, and correcting electrical malfunctions in equipment or control devices.

Position Requirements

Minimum H.S. diploma or GED.

Completion of a formal apprenticeship program or equivalent combination of work experience and technical training; associate's degree from a technicalルト خا desired.

Basic skills in major standard industrial I&E fields: electrical AC/DC voltage, PLC, pneumatic control valves and systems, basic electronics, motor control systems, and process control systems.

Experience with 480‑volt to 4160‑volt electrical systems desired.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with maintenance and operations personnel posao.

Requires frequent standing, walking, climbing (ladders and stairs), and the ability to lift 80 lbs occasionally.

Microsoft Office knowledge.

Occasional overtime and on‑call during weekends, nights and holidays.

Candidate must pass pre‑employment screening examinations and assessments.
