Legal Assistant – Floater
Hall & Evans is seeking a candidate with legal assistant or paralegal experience to support its complex civil litigation practice in our Denver office. This position can require billable hours and offers a hybrid working schedule (3 days/office, 2 days/home) after successful completion of the training period.
Responsibilities
Assemble and file documents electronically
Prepare motion and discovery shells, and motion filing
Coordinate depositions and trials
Assist with preparation of trial, mediation, and arbitration documents
Interface professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court clerks
Process payment requests and coordinate the client billing process
Maintain client files and contact information
Schedule meetings, conference calls, depositions, court hearings, and travel arrangements
Outlook/LSS calendaring and iManage document management program experience is highly preferred
Effectively manage a high-volume workload with critical deadlines
Exercise personal integrity, confidentiality, tact, discretion, and judgment
Work overtime as necessary and perform billable hours (preferred)
Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum high school graduation; business school or related professional legal secretarial degree or paralegal certificate strongly preferred
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Excellent technology skills
Well-developed skills in editing, proofreading, and grammar
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
Knowledge of manipulation and editing of PDF documents using Acrobat Adobe
Complex defense litigation experience is highly preferred
iManage document management program experience is highly preferred

Compensation & Availability The hiring range for this position is $50,000 to $77,300 annually. This position will be posted until February 27, 2026.
