If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Elder Law Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. Our firm is committed to providing high-quality legal services to our clients, with a particular focus on elder law, including Medicaid planning, estate planning, and powers of attorney. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers competitive compensation and benefits. Responsibilities
Providing compassionate and comprehensive legal counsel to clients on matters related to elder law, including Medicaid planning, estate planning, and powers of attorney. Representing clients in court proceedings, administrative hearings, and mediations. Preparing and reviewing legal documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives. Conducting legal research and analysis to stay abreast of current laws and regulations related to elder law. Collaborating with other team members to develop and implement effective legal strategies. Educating clients and their families on their rights and responsibilities, as well as the potential legal implications of their decisions. Participating in community outreach events to promote our firm’s services and to educate the public about elder law issues. Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Current membership in good standing with the State Bar. Minimum of 3 years of experience in elder law, including experience with Medicaid planning, estate planning, and powers of attorney. Proven ability to represent clients in court proceedings, administrative hearings, and mediations. Excellent legal research and writing skills. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and their families. Demonstrated commitment to serving the needs of seniors and their families. Ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism. Benefits
