Full-time Associate (Produce)

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Receive inventory, stock and maintain assigned store section, operating cash register, carry‑out services, and store cleaning.
Maintain assigned section: order, receive and stock merchandise, ensure proper pricing, check product date codes for rotation, stock shelves, end displays, floor stacks, displays and refrigerated/frozen cases; prepare perishable products; set up advertising/promotional displays; review invoices and bills for accuracy.
Clean and maintain sanitation standards in interior and exterior areas of store and parking lot.
Operate cash register, receive payment, make change, process check/charge/debit transactions, process cash/credit refunds when approved; verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
Offer friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and courteous assistance to customers, providing store and product information; assist loading purchases into vehicles when requested.
Perform basic bookkeeping duties and record lost/damaged goods and store supplies.
Candidates Skills and Qualifications
Ability to read and write English, interact with general public and co‑workers.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and employees.
Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Employee must regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
Basic PC/Outlook skills preferred.
Required Qualifications mensagem One to three (1‑3) years of related experience and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Retail Management Certificate desirable.
