Responsibilities
Facilitate communication between patients, nursing, and nutrition services under the direction of the inpatient catering manager.
Assist clinical staff with patient requests and preferences and enter data into the information system to organize patient nourishment.
Deliver trays and food to patients and collect them upon completion.
Prepare and deliver nourishment to patient floors.
Apply diet therapy in tray‑line and production areas.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
6+ months of experience in a kitchen area preferred.
Understanding of unit measurements (ounces, pounds, cups, etc.).
Ability to use a scale.
Basic food preparation skills.
