Position Summary Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Responsibilities
Implements and monitors patient care plans; monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate; serves as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care; notes and carries out physician and nursing orders; assesses and coordinates discharge planning.

Minimum Requirements
Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
License and Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days
Preferred Requirements
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Certifications
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Other certifications as required by individual department
