Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656‑bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, cutting‑edge cancer treatment technology, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards to deliver efficient, effective, and quality patient care.
Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age‑appropriate care on the assigned unit.
Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles, assess data reflective of the patient’s status, and interpret information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to age‑specific needs.
Plan for patient care, including developing, modifying, and implementing the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards, as described in the Patient Care policies and procedures.
Expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
Job Requirements
Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current valid Oklahoma or multi‑state RN license
BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer before providing direct patient care
ACLS – Experienced hire or transfer: obtain within 90 days; New grad or new to specialty: obtain within 6 months
ENPC or PALS – Experienced hire or transfer: obtain within 90 days; New grad or new to specialty: obtain within 6 months
TNCC – Experienced hire or transfer: obtain within 1 year; New grad or new to specialty: obtain within 24 months
NIHSS – Experienced hire or transfer: obtain within 90 days; New grad or new to specialty: obtain within 6 months
Salary: $60,000 – $64,000 per year. Location: Tulsa, OK.
