Manager, Healthcare Performance Improvement - Pharmacy Services
Location: Lawrenceburg, IN | Salary: $65,000.00-$75,000.00
We are looking for a leader to shape pharmacy strategy and operations across our organization.
Responsibilities
Develop pharmacy strategies, business plans, and processes for inpatient, infusion, ambulatory, formulary management, and pharmacy operations.
Lead consulting engagements focused on pharmacy operations for provider organizations.
Oversee development and delivery of client‑specific policies, procedures, workflows, training, and continuous quality improvement across existing and new locations.
Direct internal readiness assessments and mock audits, identify compliance risks, and oversee mitigation plans with measurable outcomes.
Support business development initiatives, including proposal development, scope design, and client presentations.
Advise, communicate, and present to all levels, including C‑suite, management, and pharmacy staff.
Provide in‑depth process expertise and leadership to clients.
Deliver an unmatched client experience and identify additional value‑added services.
Actively participate in key healthcare industry groups (e.g., ASHP, Becker’s, Apexus, 340B Health, HFMA).
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, pharmacy, technology, health services administration, or a related field.
5+ years of prior healthcare consulting, pharmaceutical industry, or hospital environment experience.
Significant expertise in advanced Excel, IT platforms, and healthcare data.
Strong technical skills, experience with spreadsheets, databases, and an automated audit work paper system.
Preferred Qualifications
Past experience with large/medium‑sized consulting firm(s).
Pharm D. or bachelor's degree in pharmacy strongly preferred.
Completion of ASHP accredited PGY1 Residency.
Pharmacy operations management experience (e.g., director, inpatient operations manager, supervisor roles).
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for pharmacy operations analysis and reporting.
Familiarity with generative AI tools and ability to support client engagements involving AI solutions.
