Job Summary Responsible for assessing, analyzing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients on a daily basis. Subordinate to the Director, Patient Care Manager, Assistant Patient Care Manager, and Registered Nurse in charge. Incumbents are subject to overtime and call-back as required by the hospital.
Responsibilities
Assess, analyze, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Work under the general supervision of senior nursing staff.
Perform overtime and on‑call duties when required.
Qualifications
Current licensure or permit as a registered nurse in the state of Arkansas.
Experience as a registered nurse (details as per hospital requirement).
Knowledge of hospital and department policies and procedures, patient care procedures, and ability to operate technical equipment as acquired through orientation.
Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs., carry up to 40 lbs., push/pull up to 350 lbs., and perform frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
Ability to work in a normal hospital environment exposed to biological hazards and unpleasant odors.
Normal hearing: ability to hear normal and soft tones.
Distinguish smells and temperatures by touch and proximity.
