Pay Range: $28.00/hr - $50.00/hr (based on skills and experience)

LPN Hourly Rate: Up to $35 an hour, based on experience.

RN Hour Rate: Up to $50 an hour, based on experience.

About Giving Home Health Care Since 2012, Giving Home Health Care has been supporting individuals impacted by health conditions related to their work in nuclear facilities for the Department of Energy. Location & Schedule We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Nurse (RN or LPN) in Belen, NM to administer patient care in accordance with a physician established care plan.

This is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care provided at the patient’s residence. Once our patients are accepted into the program, there is no expiration for this benefit, allowing caregivers to build lasting relationships for years to come.

Patients require 24‑hour nursing care a few days every week, with multiple scheduling options of 12‑hour shifts. Typical schedule: Sunday 0800‑2000, 2000‑0800; Monday 0800‑2000, 2000‑0800; Tuesday 0800‑2000, 2000‑0800; Wednesday 0800‑2000, 2000‑0800; Thursday 0800‑2000, 2000‑0800; Friday 0800‑2000, 2000‑0800; Saturday 0800‑2000, 2000‑0800.

Key Responsibilities

Execute physician‑prescribed plans of care

Complete compliant documentation of the care provided in the system of record

Manage and administer prescribed medication, treatment, and therapies

Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care

Perform various activities associated with daily living

Monitor vitals and GI intake and output

Assess skin integrity and administer wound care

Monitor for changes in the patient’s condition such as weight loss/gain, self‑care abilities, and indicators of disease progression

Communicate with family members, physicians, case managers, and other prescribed individuals regarding the patient’s health

Provide education and training to the patient, their family, and/or the Home Health Aide

Work one‑on‑one in the patient’s home to provide a comfortable environment

Collaborate with and supervise Certified Nursing Assistants and Personal Care Attendants

Perform other personal care services as necessary to meet the patient’s needs

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited college or university, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing

Current State or Compact License as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse

Current CPR certification

TB test and physical examination

Maintain required insurance

Good interpersonal skills

Hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity

Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and move patients

Ability to operate under stressful conditions and make quick decisions

Dependable transportation and willing to commute to the patient’s home

Ability to provide basic medical management up to medically fragile end‑of‑life care

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years of experience as an RN/LPN in a clinical or home health setting

Ability to assist with two‑person assist
