Inventory Control Specialist/Cycle Counter

Responsibilities
Maintain inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs.
Maintain product identification and location programs.
Research inventory discrepancies and reconcile them.
Complete physical inventories, cycle counts, random or receipt audits, and reconciliations.
Track and report non-conforming products.
Resolve inventory problems promptly.
Document damaged products.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Job Specifications
High School diploma, GED, or equivalency required.
Ability to operate forklift, pallet jacks, and reach truck with proper training.
Experience in a cGMP‑compliant environment is a plus.
Technical Expertise
Basic Microsoft Office skills: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
Experience with warehouse or supply‑chain environments and transportation is a plus.
Experience using RF guns/scanners is a plus.
Additional Employment Requirements
Must successfully pass all preliminary employment requirements (background check and drug screen).
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Adhere to strict appearance and uniform guidelines.
Physical & Mental Demands
Work is heavy in nature; must be able to lift 50 lbs. frequently and up to 75 lbs. occasionally.
Must remain on feet for prolonged periods.
Forklift operation requires hearing warehouse activity.
Must read at a distance, close to eyes, and at arm’s length with or without correction; forklift operation requires distance vision.
Correctly identify and record lot and serial numbers.
Working Conditions
Activities occur both inside (weather protected but temperature changes) and outside.
Employees are subjected to extreme cold during freezer work; PPE is provided.
Hazardous conditions may exist, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, and working in high places.
Equipment Operated
Forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker.
RF scan guns and RF devices.
