Maintenance Technician / 3rd Shift

is looking for a Maintenance Technician to support production on the third shift. The role involves repairing machine tools, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting with equipment modifications and installations.
Shift and Compensation 3rd Shift position – pay range $29.50 to $33.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities Repair machines used in production, including:
Chuck repair, hydraulic oil hose replacement, and leak repairs
Replacement of lube blocks, valves, belts, cylinders, and seals
Alignment of turrets, spindles, and tailstock
Chip conveyor and tank repairs; resolving bearing issues
Electrical repairs – switches, solenoids, cooling fans, fuses, relays, contactors
Preventive maintenance on all machines and root‑cause analysis using 8‑D and 4‑step problem solving techniques
Qualifications
High School Diploma
One (1) year certificate from college or technical school
Three (3) to six (6) months of relevant experience, or equivalent education and experience
Language Skills Ability to read, interpret, and write safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals; communicate effectively with customers and employees.
Mathematical Skills Proficiency in probability, statistics, geometry, trigonometry, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions applied to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability Skill in solving practical problems, interpreting written or diagrammatic instructions, and dealing with concrete variables in low‑standardized settings.
