Cath Lab Tech - Midtown
Position: Cath Lab Technician (Full‑time) – Piedmont Columbus Midtown
Overview Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures. Holds thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab equipment, its maintenance, and administers direct and indirect care to patients undergoing these procedures, providing cardiovascular clinical support during procedures.
Responsibilities
Assist the physician in performing invasive cardiac procedures.
Provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during procedures.
Maintain knowledge of Cath Lab equipment and perform necessary upkeep and troubleshooting.
Qualifications Education
Graduate from a Registered Nurse (RN) program.
Graduate of a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) program.
Graduate of a Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) program.
Work Experience
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Technician experience.
Licenses & Certifications
Valid RN license in Georgia or multistate NLC/eNCL accreditation, or RCIS/RCES credentials.
Basic Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) upon hire.
