Overview We are seeking Med/Surg RNs interested in working in the ED Observation area at our WakeMed North hospital's Emergency Department. WakeMed North is a modern facility with outstanding nurse support and low nurse-to-patient ratios.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients and families through a care plan tailored to each patient's physical, psychological, and socioeconomic needs.
Assess patients and document findings, develop care plans, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.
Support WakeMed's mission and values, adhering to ANA Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice and the North Carolina Board of Nursing Practice Act.
Implement WakeMed's Patient & Family Centered Care model, focusing on dignity and respect, information sharing, participation, and collaboration.
