Scope of Responsibilities Works under direct supervision of Pharmacy Operations Supervisor and Pharmacists. Follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.
Job Summary Assist pharmacy staff in organization, filling, and packaging of prescriptions.
Job Duties
Assist in the stocking of inventory from supplier orders
Restock workstation and freezers with filling supplies
Prepare packaging and cooler boxes for daily prescription fulfillment
Facilitate transfer of prepared packages to shipping vendors (UPS/FedEx)
Perform housekeeping duties necessary to maintain a professional environment
Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
Perform other duties as assigned
Attendance Requirements
Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts.
Educational Requirements
Minimum High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Pharmacy Technician or related certification
Experience
Experience in a customer service related field
3-6 months’ experience as a pharmacy technician preferred
Special Conditions of Employment
Drug test
Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position
Compensation $15.50-17.00 per hour.
The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
