All Metals Processing and Logistics is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician 1.

Job Summary Inspect facilities, coordinate maintenance, respond to emergencies, manage event setup and takedown, troubleshoot minor repair issues, communicate upper‑level improvement plans, schedule repair personnel, and perform administrative tasks.

Physical Requirements Walk, climb stairs/ladders, stoop, kneel, crouch, pull and push objects up to 50 pounds occasionally, move objects repeatedly, communicate and operate machinery safely.

Job Functions

Routine maintenance: inspections, lubrication, and adjustments on industrial machinery and equipment.

Troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Preventive maintenance: implement and maintain schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.

Record keeping: maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.

Safety: ensure all safety regulations and procedures are followed.

Collaboration: work with engineering and operations teams to identify and implement improvements.

Installation, dismantle, and reassemble machinery and equipment.

Calibration and testing: adjust and calibrate equipment, perform tests to ensure proper functioning.

Documentation: prepare detailed records of maintenance activities, including schematics and records of preventive maintenance.

Material management: maintain inventory of parts and supplies.

Training: may train production workers on routine preventive maintenance.

Required Skills

Steel processing experience a plus.

Ability to troubleshoot and knowledge of structure or grounds to be maintained.

Knowledge of maintenance procedures and systems such as electrical, roofing, pool.

Physical strength and agility; ability to lift heavy loads.

Management experience preferred; maintenance experience required.

High school diploma or GED required.

3+ years of relevant maintenance experience.

Extensive knowledge of a variety of mechanical systems.

Ability to maintain positive client relationships.

Effective handling of both administrative and mechanical responsibilities.

Safety priority at all times.

Strong computer skills and understanding of data analysis software.
