Certified Medical Assistant
Seaview Orthopaedic & Medical Associates in Brick, NJ is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to provide top‑notch medical care in a fast‑paced environment. Positions are also available in other locations.
Daily Responsibilities
Rooming patients and preparing them for examinations
Performing point of care testing and diagnostic procedures
Assisting with medication administration, injections, and aspirations
Suture and staple removal
Apply and remove casts, braces, splints and dressings
Venipuncture, urine collection, sanitizing and stocking of exam rooms
Required Skills
Registered Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse
Proficient in specimen collection, lab testing, and vaccine administration
Ability to perform lavage, diagnostic testing, and office procedures
Strong communication skills and CPR certification
Nice To Have Skills
Experience in orthopedics or sports medicine
Experience with ambulatory care and urgent care settings
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems – eClinical Works a plus
Certifications in phlebotomy
Knowledge of medical coding and billing processes
