Registered Nurse (RN), Cath Lab PRN

Location: UNC Blue Ridge-Morganton, NC (with additional labs in Raleigh, Morganton, Henderson, Hendersonville, Rutherfordton, and mobile units in Charlotte and Whiteville)
About the Position DLP Cardiac Partners is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network. We provide fixed hospital‑based labs and mobile units across North Carolina. This PRN RN role supports the cardiologist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures on adult patients. Your focus will be high‑quality, patient‑centered care with strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs
Initiate appropriate nursing interventions
Provide care appropriate to patient condition and age
Document medical necessity in the medical record accurately and timely
Maintain and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
Perform timely and accurate quality improvement assessments
Assist in circulating, monitoring, or scrubbing procedures and pre‑ and post‑care as required
Qualifications
Licensed RN in North Carolina or a compact state with an unencumbered license
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire
Minimum of two years critical care or cardiac catheterization experience, working with hemodynamic waveforms and vaso‑active medications
Ability to read and recognize EKGs and dysrhythmias
