If you’re an experienced Maintenance Technician who can troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment with minimal supervision, we want to hear from you! You’ll work directly with experienced maintenance managers and technicians who have spent years mastering the car wash industry. You'll receive hands‑on training in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, electrical work, PLC/programming basics, and other high‑demand skill sets—all while getting paid to travel.
As part of our regional maintenance team, you will be responsible for sites in Shelbyville, IN; Crawfordsville, IN; and Greenville, OH, learning how to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of equipment from multiple manufacturers. You won’t be stuck in one shop or doing the same repair every day—each location has unique challenges that help you grow.

Position Summary The Traveling Maintenance Tech will modify, repair, and improve existing products and equipment, and assist in developing new or updated machinery, components, or products. The incumbent will assist with maintenance repairs and installations as necessary.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Travel to sites in Shelbyville, IN; Crawfordsville, IN; and Greenville, OH. A company vehicle will be provided within 90 days of employment. Until then, vehicle allowances will be issued. Gas expenses will be paid for by the company.
Travel to an established district for 2 weeks of training (Mon‑Fri). Hotel, food, and gas expenses will be covered by the company.
Travel to Sonny’s Car Wash College in Tamarac, FL or Phoenix, AZ.
Use a variety of hand and power tools—including hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches—and operate hydraulic, electrical, and electronic testing equipment.
Manage work orders using the company Operations Portal to review, prioritize, document, and close work orders daily.
Train and support Site Managers to strengthen their preventative maintenance capabilities and ensure long‑term site reliability.
Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical/electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, mechanical equipment, and car wash machinery.
Perform other related responsibilities as assigned to support overall operations and maintenance excellence.
Additional duties may arise from time to time, commensurate with the purpose of the job and identified by the line manager.
Job Qualifications
Thorough understanding of electronics principles and design
Clean driving record
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Ability to pull a trailer
Detail‑orientated and organized
Excellent problem‑solving ability
Ability to follow highly complex directions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds
Ability to distinguish various colors of wires and differentiate electronic system sections and wiring
