Job Description
We are looking for a Private Client Banker for the Tanglewood branch in Houston, TX. The successful candidate will provide top‑tier service to our affluent client base, building and maintaining strong relationships, and helping clients achieve their financial objectives.
Job Responsibilities
Share the value of Chase Private Client with eligible clients.
Actively manage their banking relationship via an advice‑based approach, ensuring each client receives the best products and services for their needs.
Partner with specialists—including Private Client Advisors, Mortgage Bankers, and Business Relationship Managers—to connect customers to experts who can address specialized financial needs.
Help clients use self‑service options, making their banking experience convenient 24/7.
Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
Demonstrated success using a value‑added, relationship‑oriented approach to acquire and deepen client relationships.
1+ year Branch Banking Banker or equivalent experience in financial services, with verifiable success in new client acquisition, cultivating, and maintaining customer relationships and revenue generation.
Required: Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam and FINRA Series 6/7/66 or equivalent; state registration required if not already licensed. Must complete within 180 days of start date.
Compliance with Dodd‑Frank/Truth in Lending Act.
High school diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent.
Adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
Excellent communication skills.
College degree or military equivalent.
Experience cultivating relationships with affluent clients.
Strong team orientation with a long‑term commitment to the firm.
Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act This position is subject to the Dodd‑Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. A valid criminal history check, credit report, and NMLS information will be evaluated. A felony conviction within the last seven years disqualifies applicants. Continued employment requires ongoing compliance with the SAFE Act.
