Pay Rate:
$23.00 to $24.00 hourly+ discounted studio housing ($875/month)
Schedule:
Full-time | Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and skilled
Admin / Customer Service Associate
to support operations at a 300-unit affordable housing community in Downtown LA. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a people-centered environment, is highly organized, and can support residents, many of whom are part of vulnerable or mental-health–related populations, with professionalism and empathy.
What You’ll Do Provide daily customer service and administrative support for residents and staff Support de-escalation efforts and collaborate with service providers Maintain accurate documentation and assist with property operations Uphold safety, confidentiality, and professional boundaries Use essential systems and applications (Outlook, Teams, Yardi, Maintenance IQ, MyQ, SharePoint, etc.)
Requirements Experience working with individuals in
DTLA mental health environments
using compassion, patience, and trauma-informed approaches (preferred) Strong communication and customer-service skills Ability to remain patient, empathetic, and professional Willingness to learn trauma-informed care and de-escalation practices Bilingual:
Spanish required for daily communication Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
