Position Description Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Jacksonville, FL.
Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly.
Hourly Pay $17.39/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles at Ryder support distribution across the US.
We want the right Warehouse Associate to join us at Ryder and work in the Safest Supply Chain Environment with State of the Art Equipment.
Products Being Handled: Management of inbound products such as bolts, cables, reels, wires, anchors etc.
Equipment: Stand-up and Sit-Down Forklifts and Pallet Jacks

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
Must have a clean driving record and a personal vehicle and travel within the area approximately 25 - 50 % of the day
Strong technical aptitude including use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, scanners and entering orders into a WMS System
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, and in a diverse work environment
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
Highly thorough and dependable, with a high degree of initiative and a good attendance record
Performs work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrates a high level of accuracy even under pressure
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, and up to 35 lbs for certain tasks; stand for long periods of time; push/pull as needed
Must be available to work on a flexible schedule on the various work shifts
Ability to work using health and safety methods
Must have a valid Driver's License and meet Ryder's driving qualifications
Responsibilities
Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
Responsible for accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours of production.
Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
Perform other duties as assigned.
