Responsibilities
Are you a hands‑on problem solver who takes pride in keeping a community running smoothly? As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring our buildings and grounds are safe, functional, and inviting. You’ll perform a variety of maintenance tasks, from plumbing and electrical repairs to HVAC and carpentry work, all while upholding our high standards for quality and safety. Complete service requests in a timely manner and interact with residents to ensure their needs are met. Prepare vacant units to occupancy standards within established time frames. Inspect property mechanical systems and grounds, addressing safety issues immediately with management. Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs. Perform cleaning and upkeep of common areas and grounds. Assist in emergency repairs as directed by supervisors and rotate on‑call for emergency maintenance. Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and report any shortages. Conduct routine preventive maintenance activities in partnership with the supervisor. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
1+ years of experience in general maintenance or a related field. Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems. Affordable and/or apartment housing experience is a plus. Must be able to participate in the emergency on‑call rotation as needed. Dedicated to exceeding expectations by providing exceptional service. Willingness to embrace feedback and continuously improve. Strong belief in the value of teamwork and collaboration. Reliable and committed to doing the right thing at all times. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. Personal standards of appearance and dress compatible with the Company’s standards. Demonstrates accountability and reliability by taking full ownership of projects and outcomes, prioritizing precision and attention to detail, and approaching challenges with grit, resilience, and proactive problem‑solving, while continuously engaging in learning and development to enhance performance; fosters collaboration and a resident‑centered environment, ensuring empathy, respect, and cross‑functional success in all interactions. Salary
Anticipated salary range:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour . This range is a general guideline and may vary based on qualifications, location, and specific responsibilities. Additional compensation may include performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits
