Position Summary
них— Walmart is hiring General Maintenance Technicians. You will make an impact by diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance duties for all commercial equipment to support our Walmart stores. You will develop preventative maintenance schedules and complete assigned PMs within the outlined timeframe, as well as conduct training for Store Associates regarding care and cleaning of equipment.
Equipment Serviced
Food Equipment: Combi ovens, deli slicers, auto meat cutters, fryers, hot cases, ice makers, pizza ovens, rotisserie ovens, thermoglazers, donut cases, four‑bowl warmers, bakery ovens, bread slicers, tortilla makers.
Grease and Oil Systems: Oil/water separators, used cooking oil tanks.
อย> What You’ll Do
Perform minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material‑handling equipment, and food equipment.
Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality.
Manage work orders and routine maintenance schedules by completing and providing required written and electronic information (expense vouchers, weekly summaries, work orders, maintenance logs, etc.).

Have previous experience in maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material‑handling equipment, food equipment, etc.).
Understand the importance of customer service and communicate clearly, transparently, and respectfully.
Drive personal accountability and use effective time management to achieve commitments.
Adapt to changing and competing demands using solid judgment to identify priorities.
Believe in servant leadership and can work as a team to achieve goals.
Minimum Qualifications
3 years of experience in maintenance.
Hold a valid state‑issued driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record and ability to pass a motor‑vehicle record report.
Eligible for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Preferred Qualifications
Vocational or technical certification and 3 years of experience in plumbing, electrical, material‑handling equipment, or related trade; Þá 5 years of experience in the same trades.
Valid driver’s license.
Eligible for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Completion of a 2‑year vocational or technical trade program.
License in a related trade in the city and/or state where the job is located.
Intermediate proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
