Job Description

Operate all equipment.

Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.

Prepare product.

Receive and process telephone orders.

Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.

Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Comprehend and give correct written instructions.

Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.

Perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).

Make correct monetary change.

Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.

Coordinate motor skills between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid, accurate movements.

Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Work under varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.

Operate in work areas ranging from 36°F in cooler to 90°F+ in some areas, with sudden temperature changes.

Work in environments with fumes from food odors, exposure to cornmeal dust, and cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.

Handle hot surfaces/tools from ovens up to 500°F or higher and sharp edges with moving mechanical parts.
