SKILLED MAINTENANCE WORKER PLANT OPERATIONS (FT VARIED)
West Henderson Hospital
is the seventh acute care hospital in the Valley Health System, located at the southwest corner of Raiders Parkway and St. Rose Parkway, near the Las Vegas Raiders' headquarters. The 150‑bed hospital provides comprehensive services including emergency care, cardiac, neurology, surgery, gastroenterology, and inpatient medical care.

Job Description Responsible for the maintenance of the physical plant buildings, grounds, equipment and utilities. Maintenance technicians are originally hired to perform specialty tasks (e.g., carpentry, painting) and are expected to work in other trade fields when trained and qualified.

Qualifications Shift:
Full time days
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; completion of a certification course in a trade or two. Associates of Science degree in a related field such as HVAC, central station equipment, or other technical field preferred.
Experience:
Minimum two (2) years experience required; certification or degree may substitute for experience.
Technical Skills:
Skills in one or more specialized trades (carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, locksmith, general building, general equipment maintenance).
License/Certification:
Certification in a specialized trade preferred (carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.).
Other:
Must have basic mathematical aptitude and exceptional troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities to identify problems and recommend corrective action for all mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.
