Baltimore Country Club is looking for a skilled
Duckpin Bowling Mechanic
to maintain and repair our bowling equipment in our Roland Park Clubhouse, ensuring a safe and fun experience for our Members and Guests. This hands‑on role is perfect for someone with mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a passion for keeping equipment in top condition. The bowling season runs from October through March; however this position will also assist with general facility maintenance throughout the year at both Roland Park and Five Farms. This is a Part‑time position, scheduled for roughly 10‑20 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Maintain, repair, and operate all bowling lane equipment, including six 1956 Sherman Pinsetters
Perform preventative maintenance and maintain a log as needed
Keep the bowling area and shop clean, organized, and safe
Monitor and maintain inventory of parts and tools
Assist with general facility maintenance throughout the year
Follow all BCC and OSHA safety procedures
Work independently or with a team to complete maintenance tasks efficiently
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years' experience with Sherman duckpin pinsetter machines
Knowledge of power tools, PPE, and general mechanical maintenance
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills
Able to lift 50+ lbs and stay active during shifts
Flexible availability days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Basic knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to read floor plans and follow instructions
OSHA 10 certification (or willing to complete upon hire)
