Job Summary Acrisure is seeking an End User Compute (EUC) Engineer to join our growing team in Grand Rapids, MI.

You will be responsible for solving critical technology challenges related to end‑user computing, support the design of end‑user solutions, and ensure product quality for those solutions offered.

Your role will involve implementing and maintaining all EUC applications, tooling, and management systems, providing technical support for problem management, integration, and maintenance of the EUC environment, and ensuring performance and availability meet SLA’s through monitoring, timely service restoration, and tuning.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain application deployment packages using a range of tools, with a focus on efficiency and quality.

Manage and administer the IT infrastructure and tools that enable end users to perform their work effectively and efficiently, including remote access and support software, File and Print Servers, and other similar tools.

Participate in infrastructure and business‑driven projects and provide third‑line support for EUC systems and services.

Ensure a reliable and user‑friendly EUC environment by developing and implementing processes for application deployment, patch management, and disaster recovery/business continuity.

Document design guidelines for new and existing business applications and evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and processes to improve end‑user computing.

Act as a technical escalation point, research complex technical problems, and identify, implement, and communicate technical fixes.

Train IT staff on the troubleshooting and resolution of EUC issues, collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance the end‑user device experience, and take ownership of the EUC lifecycle, including package development and testing.

Manage user and group objects across different systems and tools to ensure effective collaboration and secure access to resources, and automate tasks by scripting and continuously improving EUC services.

Requirements

A deep understanding of industry trends and competitive advantages and an automation‑driven mindset.

Ability to work independently or collaboratively with multiple teams and departments.

Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to transition and change priorities quickly to accommodate rapidly growing business needs and altering structures.

Highly capable in documenting processes and creating knowledge articles.

Ability to multi‑task and manage operational day‑to‑day and project tasks responsibilities.

Self‑driven and motivated to learn and improve automation processes.

Solid understanding of Windows desktop and server OS and the Microsoft application ecosystem, including group policy and its functions within EUC.

Education and Experience

A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

3–5 years of experience in EUC engineering or a related field.

Experience with virtual desktop implementation and management is a plus.

Experience utilizing tools to automate delivery of applications and proficiency in PowerShell.

Experience or knowledge of tools such as ConnectWise Automate/LabTech, ScreenConnect, Intune, AutoPilot, Jamf, and other related tooling.

On‑site Presence Candidates should be comfortable with an on‑site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross‑functional partnership.
