Process Engineer – (USA)
Base Pay Range : $80,000.00/yr – $120,000.00/yr
Position Summary Lead Process Improvement tools and methods such as 5S, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, time and motion studies to eliminate losses in a Distribution Center area according to Network Process Structure using Walmart Performance System (WPS) programs. Deliver functional area results through KPI analysis and loss elimination, create standard work to reduce variation, and assist with review and response of improvement projects owned by area managers.
Responsibilities
Apply new network “One Best Way” playbooks and provide input to Divisional Focused Improvement Teams on project ideation and replication opportunities.
Assist with tactical deployment of WPS program methodology and manage project execution of top losses.
Support loss profile analysis and performance metrics; develop gap analysis to support WPS integration.
Coordinate and oversee job‑related activities, developing relationships with stakeholders to meet customer and business needs.
Provide supervision, development, hiring, and training opportunities for associates.
Ensure compliance with company policies and support company mission, ethics, and integrity through action plans and the Open Door Policy.
Promote a culture of belonging, respect, integrity, and customer focus throughout all activities.
Make decisions based on data insights and analysis, balancing short and long‑term priorities.
Drive continuous improvement, adopt new technologies, and support others through change.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in Process Improvement.
At least 2 years of process improvement or relevant work experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Co‑Op/Internship in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Distribution with experience applying Lean/Continuous Improvement tools.
