In an exciting and challenging fast‑paced environment, the Millwright repairs hydraulic equipment, welds, performs crane maintenance, and installs plant equipment.
What You’ll Do
Ability to諲 read and understand blueprints and sketches.
Working knowledge of various types of gear reductions and motor/reducer coupling alignments.
Repair hydraulic equipment.
Perform welding procedures (204…,MIG, TIG, stick including stainless, gas welding).
Operate mobile equipment.
Perform crane maintenance and knowledge of safe rigging methods.
Work at heights.
Abide by all policies and procedures, plant safety regulations, and work rules.
Work with others; desire to collaborate.
Meet attendance requirements.
Perform other duties as deemed necessary.
What You’ll Need
Commitment to safety.
արդեն minimum high school diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
Completion of EQS in‑house Apprentice Program or at least 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance in a heavy industrial facility (preferred). Previous maintenance experience in a steelmaking environment preferred but not required.
Ability to pass written skills‑based test, blueprint test, بیشتری hydraulic test, and welding test.
Driving is a function of this position but not a requirement in accordance with the motor vehicle safety program. Driver’s license will be monitored for validity and active status.
Strong work ethic.
