VFR Helicopter Pilot
to support
air medical operations based in Madison, Indiana . This role places you on the front line of emergency response, flying critical care missions that directly impact patient outcomes and save lives.

Position Overview The Helicopter Pilot supports air medical transport operations under established safety, regulatory, and operational standards. Pilots operate in day and night environments and are responsible for the safe and professional execution of all assigned missions.

Aircraft type: AS350B3e
VFR and NVG operations
Instrument rating required
Twenty four hour operations with day and night rotation
Community focused mission with a strong safety culture
Key Responsibilities
Perform line pilot duties in accordance with the company General Operations Manual
Conduct safe and efficient day and night air medical missions
Support Safety Management System initiatives and company safety campaigns
Assist with patient and equipment loading and unloading as required
Participate in community outreach activities
Deliver professional and courteous service to internal and external customers

Up to $100,000 sign on bonus

Minimum Qualifications
Commercial Helicopter Rating
Instrument Helicopter Rating
First Class Medical Certificate
Meet CAMTS minimum flight time requirements:
2,000 total flight hours
1,500 helicopter hours
1,000 hours PIC helicopter
500 turbine helicopter hours
100 hours unaided night operations or
50 hours unaided night and 100 hours NVG
NVG qualified or eligible
Body weight not to exceed 235 pounds
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated internal and external customer service skills
Pre Employment Requirements
Ability to pass a pre placement physical and functional capacity exam including lifting up to 100 pounds
Drug screening and background check
Schedule & Location Requirements
Seven days on and seven days off rotation
Schedule rotation may be required
Must reside within a one hour commute of the Madison, Indiana base
Additional Notes
Relocation assistance available
Relocation assistance requires a two year service commitment
Aircraft transition training may require a one year service commitment
Housing is not provided
