Charlotte, NC – Omni Charlotte Hotel, AAA four‑diamond in Charlotte’s financial district, near Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, Discovery Place, Charlotte Convention Center, and the EpiCentre entertainment district.
Job Description Loss Prevention Officer – ensure the safety of guests, employees, and property; enforce hotel policies; prepare incident reports; conduct security rounds and lock audits; respond to emergencies; collaborate with departments; assist with guest inquiries.
Responsibilities
Perform security rounds of the front‑of‑house and heart‑of‑house areas.
Conduct lock audits and maintain the highest security standards.
Respond immediately to emergency incidents and security requests.
Maintain guest, associate, and hotel safety and security at all times.
Enforce hotel policies with courtesy, tact, and firmness.
Familiar with all emergency situations and fire alarm procedures.
Provide written reports on all activities during each shift.
Assist with guest requests and concerns, adhering to the service recovery process.
Assist with retrieving items from the Purchasing department after hours and on weekends.
Use friendly and appropriate expressions when engaging guests.
Cooperate with Housekeeping Department to ensure public areas are clean and tidy.
Direct guests to the Front Desk or meeting rooms.
Engage in conversation with as many guests as possible.
Maintain 4‑Star/4‑Diamond standards of guest service.
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
Maintain professional attitude and appearance.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Security Leadership and Management Operations Director.
Qualifications
Previous security experience preferred.
CPR Certified.
Flexible schedule to include weekends, holidays, AM and PM shifts.
Stand and walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
Exposed to indoor and outdoor environments with hot and cold temperatures.
Lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance; push/pull objects weighing up to 100 pounds without assistance.
Exposure to various hazardous chemicals.
Must work 1st and 2nd shift; provide support to 3rd shift when needed; must work weekends.
