Commercial Sales Specialist - SDI - Grand Rapids
Key individual contributor position working in a cross-functional team environment. The area of responsibility for this role is to drive all aspects of commercial execution and improvement within the business unit, with a focus on new business development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing proposals, pricing strategies, contract negotiation, and customer relationship management. This role requires a detail‑oriented individual with exceptional communication and analytical skills, who can thrive in a fast‑paced environment and enable business growth through effective deployment of commercial strategies.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Provides execution support for the Business Unit [SDI], Sales, and Marketing Strategy.
Is the point of contact for strategic business development of in‑house accounts.
Assists with management of the outside representative team.
Maintains amendments and changes to long‑term agreements.
Assists in the improvement of the commercial performance of the BU.
Collaborate effectively with internal and external teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline for potential customers.
Identify and pursue commercial sales opportunities.
Oversee, monitor account performance, purchasing trends and service needs.
Success Measures
Achieve annual sales revenue targets.
Maintain a strong, accurate pipeline and meet forecasting expectations.
Deliver exceptional customer service measured by retention and satisfaction scores.
Drive strategic growth through new opportunities, account expansion, and market insight.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, marketing or related field).
1–3 years of prior sales experience preferred.
CRM experience and master user of Microsoft Office Suite.
Working Conditions
Combination of Office, Field and Customer Facing Work.
