Job Description
5k Sign on Bonus
Must have current active EMT‑Paramedic license in the state of assignment.
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification.
Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
Complete FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
Two years experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
About BioLife Plasma Services Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high‑quality plasma you collect becomes life‑changing medicines. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and serve as a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations.
How You Will Contribute
Determine donor eligibility, manage informed consent, conduct medical history interviews, physical examinations, blood testing, and review serological results.
Evaluate donor reactions, follow SOPs for medical emergencies, and coordinate care with the Center Physician.
Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for findings requiring clinical or technical guidance.
Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
Manage employee incidents, including occupational health evaluations, and comply with EHS guidance.
Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS.
What You Bring to Takeda
High school diploma or graduate equivalent from a recognized nursing program.
State EMT‑Paramedic license.
CPR and AED certification.
IV therapy training as required by state licensure.
Completion of BioLife Medical Support Specialist FDA approved training.
Minimum two years clinical or hospital experience.

Compensation & Benefits Summary U.S. hourly wage range: $23.20 – $31.90.
