FOOD RUNNER / BUSSER (DINING ROOM ASSISTANT) Applications accepted till 1/15/25 or position filled.

Hourly Wage: $19.37

Responsibilities

Deliver food and beverages from kitchen to guests in a timely and organized manner using kitchen tickets (table/seat numbers).

Read kitchen tickets to ensure quality and accuracy of all orders.

Monitor guests’ dining experience – ensure they are satisfied with food and service, checking with customers for any additional needs on each visit.

Respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate them to the appropriate server or supervisor.

Maintain overall cleanliness of assigned service areas.

Provide guidance to guests, including dining options and general attraction information.

Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.

Clear tables of dishware and napkins after meals and return them to the kitchen; refill salt, pepper, and other condiments at tables.

Prepare coffee, tea, and ice water for customers.

Clean, sanitize, and reset tables after meals; maintain cleanliness around dining areas by sweeping, mopping floors, and keeping chairs near tables clean.

Maintain appropriate stock levels of glassware, silverware, and dishware.

Complete other duties as assigned by the Premium Manager, Premium Supervisors, and Legends management.

Qualifications

Be at least 18 years old.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience working in the food and beverage industry as a busser or food runner.

TEAM Alcohol Server certification, or willingness to complete training (offered at new hire orientation).

Willingness to work outdoors in stadium conditions (adversarial weather, extreme temperatures).

Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Must skillfully carry at least two entrée plates simultaneously over distances up to 150 ft, including through crowds.

Proficient in reading, speaking, and writing English to communicate with guests, read kitchen tickets, and understand seat/table numbers.

Read and understand a Banquet Event Order (BEO) and various menus.

Recall and recite menu details, especially unique items for promotions or special events.

Understand the expo process in fast‑paced service, including food and beverage prep, table setting, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.

Work independently or in a team setting during setup and execution of service.

Transport up to 50 lbs. continuously, standing/walking long periods, kneeling, crouching, bending.

Practice safe work habits, follow safety policies and procedures, complete company‑wide safety training and any job‑specific safety training.

Have a working email to communicate with the Concessions and Legends management teams.

Be available for the majority of Colorado Rapids games on Saturdays & Wednesdays (scheduled dates).

Colorado Rapids 2 minor league games (Sundays) and additional events & concerts may be added.
