Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Fresno, CA, for a Business Accountant. The Business Accountant will manage financial records, prepare and analyze reports, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting and tax regulations. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include overseeing accounts payable and receivable, completing payroll processes, reconciling accounts, preparing budgets, and assisting with audits. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders will be essential to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Qualifications
Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations
Proficient in accounting software, payroll systems, and Excel for data analysis
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
Effective communication and collaboration skills to engage with internal teams and external partners
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Prior experience as an accountant, preferably in a logistics, trucking, or supply chain environment, is a plus
