Field Inventory Auditor

Wage: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
Verifies merchandise and cash in each store by conducting a physical count using a handheld computer.
Notifies store manager of incorrect pricing and submits out‑of‑code merchandise.
Counts and records cash, checks and food stamps in the register, TACC tubes, and safe.
Verifies money orders, lottery ticket inventory, and bank deposits.
Verifies gasoline inventory by stopping tanks and checking for water.
Conducts surveys to confirm compliance with operational and financial procedures.
Works safely by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Works independently with minimal supervision.
Manages multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred.
At least 1 year of inventory auditing or retail experience in a convenience store environment.
Valid driver’s license with no major offenses and current liability car insurance.
Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Physical Requirements Regularly required to sit, talk, and/or hear. Frequently requires use of hands to handle items. Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with both hands and arms. Routine lifting of objects up to 25 lbs.
Work Environment Noise level usually moderate. Lighting includes natural and fluorescent sources. Work environment may change without advance notice.
