Job Title: Leasing Consultant
Department: Leasing & Marketing
Reports to: Leasing Manager
Status: Full Time / Non-Exempt Hourly
Job Summary SimplyHome by Camillo is actively seeking an experienced Leasing Consultant. They must be able to interact with incoming prospect leads and facilitate conversion to resident applicants. The role requires engaging with potential residents, identifying property matches, coordinating showings and guiding applicants through the application process during normal business hours, after-hours, weekends, and select holidays.
Responsibilities
Receive incoming leads.
Perform outbound follow-up on leads.
Discover needs of future resident leads.
Provide follow-up to convert prospects to applicants.
Identify properties that meet prospects’ needs.
Provide instructions for property access and showings.
Review application/screening requirements with prospects.
Explain online application process steps with prospects.
Follow-up with prospects regarding property showings and applications.
Be available for work during normal business hours, after‑hours, weekends, and select holidays.
Required Skills and Abilities
Friendly and welcoming demeanor with the ability to maintain professionalism and a customer‑focused approach for demanding clientele.
Excellent time management skills, detail orientation, and the ability to multi‑task and prioritize work.
Strong decision‑making, problem‑solving, and advanced conflict‑resolution skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills; proficient in English; ability to articulate needs verbally and in writing.
Knowledge of management methods and sound employee‑relations techniques; ability to collaborate with staff and troubleshoot problems.
Ability to work in an equitable, inclusive, and diverse environment.
Understanding of laws and statutes related to the position.
Experience in real estate/property management (preferred but not required).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage time effectively with little supervision.
Ability to multi‑task and manage multiple projects.
Strong negotiation and critical‑thinking skills.
Experience with Entrata or other CRM tools (preferred but not required).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Bilingual capabilities (preferred but not required).
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience with Entrata, Salesforce, or other CRM tools (preferred but not required).
Experience in real estate/property management (preferred but not required).
