Position: Nursing Informatics Specialist
Type: Hourly Contract
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours per week
Responsibilities
Translate nursing workflows and clinical needs into informatics and EHR system designs in collaboration with IT and technical teams.
Evaluate clinical and system data to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities to improve patient care and documentation quality.
Recommend and support enhancements to health information systems that improve care efficiency, usability, and clinical outcomes.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent clinical background with experience in clinical informatics or health IT.
Hands‑on experience working with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and clinical documentation workflows.
Strong ability to analyze clinical and system data and translate insights into system or workflow improvements.
Preferred
Prior experience with data annotation, data quality, or evaluation systems.
