Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Chaplain role located in San Antonio, Texas. The Chaplain will provide spiritual support, counseling, and moral guidance to service members and their families. This includes conducting religious services, providing crisis intervention, offering pastoral care, and supporting individuals in their emotional and spiritual well‑being. Additional responsibilities include fostering a sense of community, understanding diverse faith practices, and upholding the organization’s core values.
Qualifications
Strong background in pastoral care, counseling, and spiritual guidance
Ability to conduct religious services and provide interfaith support
Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills to guide and educate others
Comfortable working with diverse faith practices and maintaining inclusivity
Master’s in theology, divinity, religious studies, or a related field
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a disciplined team in an on‑site capacity
