Job Purpose To provide general plant clean‑up and utility services and to provide relief in support of line positions under daily direction.
In This Position You Will Have The Opportunity To
Consistently demonstrate that safety is the highest priority and perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
Perform general clean‑up and utility duties under daily direction from supervisor, including sweeping floors, blowing down with compressed air, shoveling, cutting/mowing lawns, picking up trash, cleaning equipment, emptying dumpsters, etc.
Provide general relief in support of line positions during breaks as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What do I need to be successful? Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Time management skills
Knowledge of general plant clean‑up and utility functions
Knowledge of line position duties and functions
Ability to read and understand SOPs
Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations and recognize safety hazards (OSHA 1910)
Excellent housekeeping practices
Ability to safely operate forklift
Ability to work at high elevations
Ability to work in confined spaces
Knowledge of safe propane handling
Self‑motivated and results oriented
Basic computer skills
Ability to adapt to rapid change
Good written and oral communication skills
Team player with a high level of energy
Ability to work 12‑hour shifts
The ability to hear and see approaching in motion mobile equipment for safety and operation.
Education
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Experience
3 – 6 months experience.
Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
