Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown is looking for an on‑call Spa Attendant who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. The Spa Attendant reports to the Director of Spa. Work authorization for the location is required.

Guests enjoy a globally inspired spa with a heated indoor pool, dining at CUT by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck, and a commitment to luxury with genuine heart.

Responsibilities The Spa Attendant cleans and maintains all spa and fitness areas, including lockers, fitness, and pool deck areas. Restocks supplies such as towels, coffee, and tea as needed. The Spa Attendant also complies with any additional requests that may arise pertaining to Spa Attendant duties.

Duties

Provide proper and safe guidance to guests, residents, and their guests regarding health club equipment including gym equipment, free weights, bicycles, steam rooms, and handicapped lift.

Provide information and assistance to hotel guests and residents, give orientation, register them, and be familiar with all hotel services and hours of operation.

Report equipment malfunctions promptly and accurately.

Ensure safety procedures are followed and notify Security of any accident or injury.

Distribute and stock towels, robes, swimsuits, toiletries, juices, fruits, and other amenities to provide guests with Four Seasons level of service.

Follow proper procedures to report when items are needed to restock inventory.

Enforce health club rules and regulations with guests.

Clean all spa areas including lockers, fitness area, pool decks, steam rooms, massage rooms and any other area within the Spa.

Work harmoniously and professionally with co‑workers and supervisors.

Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills Applicants should have knowledge of Spa Attendant operations and good communication skills. Physical mobility to lift, walk, bend, and move objects up to 50 lbs is required. Speaking, writing, and reading English are required. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are must. 1–2 years experience preferred. Flexibility to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays is required.

Hourly Rate $21–$23 per hour.
