Description
Nuvitek is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to lead and execute our end-to-end recruiting efforts for technical roles. This is a hands‑on role responsible for owning the recruiting process. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to hiring managers, an advisor on hiring strategy and market conditions, and the owner of recruiting workflows, standards, and continuous improvement. You will play a critical role in ensuring we hire high-quality talent while delivering a strong candidate and hiring manager experience.
Key Responsibilities
Own full‑cycle recruiting for technical roles, from intake through offer acceptance
Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to attract top technical talent
Conduct structured candidate screens and assessments to evaluate skills, experience, and role alignment
Present qualified candidates to hiring managers with clear recommendations and insights
Provide accurate and timely updates, reporting, and metrics to leadership
Recruiting Process Ownership
Establish and refine recruiting workflows, interview practices, and evaluation standards
Identify process gaps and implement improvements to reduce time‑to‑fill while maintaining quality
Maintain accurate and compliant candidate documentation in alignment with federal contracting requirements
Candidate Experience & Coordination
Deliver a professional, high‑touch candidate experience from initial outreach through onboarding
Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring a smooth and respectful process for candidates and interview teams
Partner with HR and Operations to support seamless onboarding and successful new‑hire transitions
Pipeline Development & Innovation
Build and maintain long‑term talent pipelines using proactive sourcing and passive recruiting strategies
Leverage recruiting tools, data, and creative sourcing techniques to expand and diversify candidate pools
Bring innovative, solutions‑oriented thinking to solve complex hiring challenges
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience recruiting for technical roles in a fast‑paced or growth‑oriented environment
Demonstrated success owning and improving recruiting processes, not just filling requisitions
Experience supporting federal contracting is preferred but not required
Demonstrated ability to design, build, and optimize automated recruiting workflows within an ATS, experience with Pinpoint preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to and influence stakeholders at all levels
Excellent organizational, follow‑up, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills with a continuous improvement mindset
Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment with a high level of ownership and accountability
Hybrid role in DMV area (office located in Tysons, VA)
