Join Elliot Health System for the LNA Apprenticeship – a paid, curriculum‑based training program that culminates in a full‑time LNA position.
About The Job The Nursing Assistant Student works under the Clinical Nurse Manager and is supervised by the RN. This role provides direct and indirect patient care, personal support, and emotional assistance within the scope of student LNA practice.
What You’ll Do
Perform activities of daily living for patients.
Report all observations, symptoms, deviations from normal, and changes in patient condition to the RN.
Provide basic support to patients and families.
Document care in selected areas of the medical record as appropriate.
Who You Are
Will obtain an LNA license within 60 days of completing the course; failure to do so results in ineligibility.
Has completed BLS training (included in the program).
Intends to work full‑time with Elliot Health System.
Commits to a 2‑year apprenticeship and LNA position.
Program Highlights
6‑week course with classroom instruction and practicum hours.
State‑wide certification exam.
Full‑time LNA position in an inpatient unit upon completion.
3,600 on‑the‑job training hours.
Schedule & Learning Model Monday – Friday, full‑time hours. Hybrid learning with online and in‑person sessions.
