Recovery Mentor - Monday thru Thursday 2nd Shift
Isaiah House is looking for a supportive and dedicated individual to take on the role of Recovery Mentor.
This is a regular
full-time
position working 2nd Shift.

Job Functions
Serve as a positive role model for clients by acting and speaking with integrity
Be available for one‑on‑one support when requested
Assist in leading structured activity groups
Share relevant personal recovery experiences to encourage clients
Promote client voice and choice during planning and implementation of goals
Support client retention and provide crisis intervention when needed
Advocate for clients by attending or accompanying them to team meetings if requested
Encourage clients to build confidence and advocate for themselves
Work closely with other departments to improve the client experience and retention efforts
Document client interactions, structured activities, and progress notes in KIPU
Perform any other duties assigned by the Programs/Operations Supervisor

Skilled in communication and teamwork
Knowledge of clinical and organizational practices

Servant leadership mindset
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
APSS certified, or eligible to obtain certification upon hire
Minimum of one year of sobriety and demonstrate ongoing recovery
Lived experience with mental health, substance use, or co‑occurring challenges, and a demonstrated pattern of recovery
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Valid driver’s license
Requirements
Adhere to Isaiah House policies and procedures
Attend mandatory in‑services and other training/educational programs as required
Hold APSS certification
Maintain APSS certification
Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
Ability to assist and support clients who may require reasonable accommodation
