Role Description This is a full‑time on‑site position for a 4th Grade ELA Teacher at Lake Forest Charter, located in New Orleans, LA. The teacher will design and deliver engaging English Language Arts lessons aligned with the curriculum, plan lessons, track student progress, assess student understanding, build a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and collaborate with colleagues and parents to foster academic and personal growth in students.

Qualifications
Proficiency in lesson planning and instructional strategies specific to English Language Arts.
Strong classroom management and student engagement techniques.
Ability to assess and track student performance to guide instruction and improve learning outcomes.
Exceptional communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues.
Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
State teaching certification for elementary education or eligibility to obtain certification.
Prior teaching experience, particularly in ELA or elementary education, is highly desirable.
