The Firm has an opening for a full-time
Corporate Legal Assistant
in the Indianapolis office. The Firm has developed an optional 3‑2 hybrid work schedule in which employees are expected to work from the Indianapolis office at least 3 days per week and may work from home up to 2 days per week. The salary range will be starting between $70,000-$75,000 based on experience.
Opportunity The candidate will work under the supervision of the attorney(s) to whom he/she is assigned and will provide typical Corporate/Business/Transactional Legal Assistant services. Those services include preparing, maintaining, and organizing client files, preparation of letters and other correspondence, maintaining and organizing corporate records (including minute books and stock certificates), maintaining and organizing electronic data rooms, maintenance of electronic data and other file information, and formatting, proofreading, and editing documents; ensuring all documents leaving the office, whether electronically or via mail, are in good order, free of typos and grammatical errors. Strong organizational and prioritization skills are a must. The candidate should be a motivated, accountable team player with excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
3+ years of experience as a legal assistant required; Corporate preferred.
Ability to deal professionally and communicate clearly and concisely with clients, attorneys, and staff on all levels.
Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Adobe/PDFDocs.
Managing calendars, planning, and scheduling meetings.
Superior organizational skills, including filing, calendaring, and time management.
Familiarity with Net Documents, or other document management system helpful.
Proven analytical skills.
Regularly report to work and adhere to the designated work schedule. Ability to be flexible, handle pressure, adapt to changing work priorities, and manage deadlines, workflow, and work assignments.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to meet deadlines and productivity standards.
