About The Position Perform product or raw material inspection using inspection tools and methodologies. Initiate nonconforming material reports when nonconforming product or material is found. Perform packaging, labeling, and shipping of finished product or raw material. May apply accept or reject labels on product or raw material.

Work Location/Schedule

This position requires the employee to be onsite at our VitalPath Maplewood, MN location.

Shift/Schedule: First Shift (4x10 hour days) Monday‑Thursday 5am‑3:30pm

VitalPath does not offer relocation assistance for this position.

Responsibilities

Review Documentation (travelers) to ensure good documentation practices are performed by operator/technician.

Perform product or raw material inspection using microscope, pin gage, caliper, ruler, laser micrometer, and other tools or methods.

Initiate nonconforming material reports for product or raw material found to be out of specification or as part of a customer return.

Perform line audits to ensure that good manufacturing practices are being followed.

Ensure product or raw material are properly segregated from defective product or raw material.

Work with production supervisors, technicians, and operators to communicate the importance of quality and following procedures.

Support good manufacturing practices and good documentation practices throughout all phases of productions.

Support calibration program for measurement equipment.

Provide support to inspection team.

Additional responsibilities as determined by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or GED or related work experience and/or training

2‑5 years of experience in a quality role

Ability to interpret dimensional requirements on drawings

Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English

Highly focused and detail oriented

Excellent attention to detail, including spotting product or material nonconformity

Must exhibit a willingness to work on teams and promote teamwork among other employees

General computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite

Must be able to work with a microscope, rulers, micrometer

Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended period of time

Compensation Package

The hourly range for this position is $16.59 - $22.12. The posted hourly range complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as market conditions, level of experience and training, education, certifications, as well as internal and external equity.

This position is eligible to earn an annual performance bonus based on meeting VitalPath’s bonus performance plan.
